The VIE is an international program for young professionals between the age of 18 and 28 who are European Union nationals. In addition, the candidate cannot come from the country hosting the mission.

JOB TITLE: Category Buyer

Assignment duration: 12 months

The Category Buyer is the point of contact for the plants in EMEA on Procurement side, for the part numbers classified under Plastic category.

Accountable for its procurement performance by managing suppliers while supporting the plants procurement execution.

Lead either directly the supplier relationship with local suppliers or through global category management for strategic suppliers.

Participate to global negotiations and lead the negotiations with local suppliers together with Regional Category Manager in EMEA.

Accountable to execute the category strategy in the region by developing the regional APOP (Annual Procurement Operation Plan) and executing the Supply Base Optimization program

Profil recherché

Profile and Competences

Education: Master from Business School OR Engineering background

Technical Field: Sound in Digital Tools for conducting routine tasks & workshops / Good negotiation skills and communication skills / Good analytical skills with excel and sensitive on the numbers

Work experience needed: Internships and/or apprentice in the fields of industrial Procurement

Technical skills: None required

Requested languages : English, fluent

Personal abilities or skills: Open minded & Result oriented / Teamwork Spirit / Open to Multi-Culture / Willing to learn
