The Accounting & Reporting Advisory (ARA) group is a dedicated team of experts that seek to advise on the use of accounting standards to constructively and positively help clients achieve their desired accounting and financial reporting objectives. The members assist our clients with the presentation and disclosures in their financial statements under various GAAP (IFRS, LUX GAAP, US GAAP) and legal requirements in different industries.
ARA also renders a key support service to the audit process, helping auditors to increase audit quality and efficiency. The members participate to the review of the Financial Statements and of the internal control processes over their preparation. The department is involved in various development projects and will offer you a dynamic, challenging and knowledge sharing environment.

We are looking to expand our team of focused, aspirational and collaborative practitioners, and as such we are offering the opportunity to join as Trainee to support this challenging and rapidly expanding business. Part of your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the audit teams of Deloitte by reviewing the compliance of the financial statements prepared by our clients with the requirements of different GAAP applicable to the related industries
- Control and ensure coherence as well as accuracy of the figures and information in the Financial Statements using Excel
- Review format and content of reports to ensure that they respect Deloitte's standards
- Identify and report any differences and/or deficiencies with suggestions to address these
- Reviewing and proposing improvements to the financial statements of our clients
Profil recherché
Your skills
- You are enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting, business administration, economics or finance related program
- You have a very good command of Excel
- You demonstrate problem-solving skills as well as having a results-oriented attitude
- You have good communication skills with the ability to develop strong relationships
- You are fluent in English and French (German would be an asset)
